We are now looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to join our team in Louvain-la-Neuve.


About the Role

As a Junior Frontend Developer, you’ll play an active role in the evolution of our SaaS product. You will be part of an Agile, cross-functional team and contribute to building modern, intuitive, and high-performance web interfaces for our platform.

You’ll work closely with experienced developers, designers, and product stakeholders, and be encouraged to take ownership, share ideas, and continuously improve your skills.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain user-facing web applications using ReactJS and TypeScript

  • Collaborate with Java backend developers and UX/UI designers to deliver a seamless user experience

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives

  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices

  • Stay current with frontend technologies and standards

  • Suggest improvements to product functionality and team workflows

Job requirements

Requirements

  • Passion for frontend development and a strong desire to grow

  • Academic or personal experience using ReactJS (or similar frameworks)

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)

  • Curiosity about backend technologies and an interest in understanding Java and REST APIs

  • A team-oriented mindset, with autonomy, rigor and initiative

  • Fluent in French; professional working proficiency in English is a strong plus

Nice to have:

  • Personal or academic projects involving REST APIs

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

  • Basic knowledge of Git, CI/CD, or development pipelines
